Jeff was wearing this all week.
Due to these. Being the neglectful parents that we are, we were letting Jeff play with some tape measure (we have for a long time without incident). As Jayne and I were talking, he came in saying that his hand hurt. I looked at it and saw a huge gaping hole! Turns out the tape had retracted and cleanly sliced the webbing down to the primary facia layer. It actually grossed me out and I had to sit down for a bit. After gaining my composure, we wrapped it up and took him to urgent care where they stitched him up. He was very calm through the whole process, didn't cry and gained compliments from the staff for being such a big kid. That was over a week ago and they were removed yesterday. So yeah, no more tape measure for Jeff.

Wow! Good to know. We let Sam play with his all the time. We will have to change him to a sewing one! :)
Who knew those things could be so dangerous? Way to be so tough Jeff!
You tactfully forgot to mention you were at OUR HOUSE where we were also not paying the least bit of attention! Poor Jeff! We feel so bad.
