Jayne came across this video a few years ago and it came up again in conversation tonight. It brings back so many childhood memories of He-Man.
Speaking of childhood cartoons, I went and saw the new Transformers movie...Meh. The action sequences were awesome as should be expected from a Michael Bay movie, but the plot had more holes than a golf course. The writing was very juvenile and I felt like it was a lot more crass than the first one. It seemed like crude jokes were thrown in just for the "laughs" they failed to get. Other parts were funny but overall the writing was pretty lackluster. It was LOOOONG too. They could have cut out about 3o minutes of the movie. For you Baltimore folks, I'm interested to hear what the audience reaction was to two particular Autobots, because they were written just to appeal to the urban crowd. It was almost embarrassing how stereotyped they were. Even more so than Jazz from the first one. But when all was said and done, the fight scenes were really awesome! 6.5/10 overall. 10/10 for action 3/10 for plot.
