Jeff's Trap

This is our first experience with Leprechaun traps. Jeff designed the trap with a very elaborate drawing, AJ was the engineer , and I was the gopher. Jeff painted the rainbow himself and built the ladder with k'nex. Jeff will now describe how it works, "He sees the rainbow and thinks it is a real one, tries to take it up, he climbs the ladder, tries to take the gold. he bumps into the knex and it falls down. and he is trapped. That's it!"

All the kindergardeners brought their traps to school Wednesday. They with bursting to tell about their creations. Some were simple and some were extravagant with jewels and sparkles and so adorable. What a fun tradition.

The leprechaun stopped at our house and he left candy in Jeff and Darcy's shoes which they gobbled right up.
