Halloween came and went with a flood of activities to keep us busy. Jeff got to be two different things this year. Jayne found a great Robin costume shortly after Jeff was born and this was the first year that it fit. Therefore, Jeff ran around as the other half of the dynamic duo at our ward party (which was a rather fun carnival type event with games and bounce houses). On the holiday proper, he was Captain Jack Sparrow, thanks to a Christmas gift from my sister Corey last year. Speaking of Corey, she flew up from San Diego to spend the weekend with us as did my younger sister Kristin and her family. It was a lot of fun. Darcy was a mish-mashed princess of sorts which looked a little silly but garnered lots of "Oh how cutes" from passers-by.

Also on Halloween night, we went candy hunting in my old neighborhood just down the hill from my parent's house. It was just as good a goldmine as it was in the 80's. Full-sized candy bars, Fireman that drove around with handfuls of candy. Sugar paradise. We also went to a good family friend's house who apparently started a Jack-o-latern festival of sorts at his house a few years ago. All in all there were 584 pumpkins this year and it was a sight to behold! Head over to the
gallery for more of that and other activities of the day. It was a wonderful day indeed.
